Updating an existing installation

  1. Keep your license email attachment and purchase reference somewhere safe.
  2. Close MaxBoost, download the latest installer above, and run it on the same PC.
  3. Open MaxBoost. If it asks for activation, choose Import License and select your license file.
  4. For an installation or license error, contact support with your Windows version and the error details. Do not repurchase to resolve an update problem.

Updates are included with your permanent single-PC license; you do not need to repurchase MaxBoost to install an update. Keep your license email attachment, close MaxBoost, then run the latest installer from the Downloads & Updates page on the same PC. If MaxBoost asks for activation afterwards, use Import License with your license file.

Set up your PC-bound license

Watch the tutorial

  1. STEP 01

    Download & open MaxBoost

    Install MaxBoost on the Windows 10 or 11 PC you want to activate, then open the app. Downloading does not charge you.

  2. STEP 02

    Buy your license

    In MaxBoost, click Buy License. Your PC code is filled in automatically. Where your country is available, enter your name, email and billing country, review the final amount, then pay securely with Stripe. You can also use Copy PC code and paste the complete code at checkout.

  3. STEP 03

    Download the license attachment

    After your payment is verified and your receipt is processed, download the .maxboostlicense attachment from your email.

  4. STEP 04

    Import License on the same PC

    Open MaxBoost on the PC whose code you supplied, choose Import License, and select the downloaded license file. Once activated, the app can be used offline.
